Business Unit Director – Manchester
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Unit Director to join a leading facilities management provider, overseeing a significant business unit and working with a high-profile client within a complex operational environment.
This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the overall commercial and operational performance of the business unit. You will play a key role in developing the client relationship, driving growth and ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery.

- Full commercial and P&L responsibility for the business unit
- Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships
- Identify and deliver opportunities for business growth
- Lead and develop operational and account management teams
- Drive performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs
- Oversee governance, compliance and operational standards
- Develop and implement strategic business plans
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the wider organisation
- Ensure the business unit delivers against financial and operational targets

- Significant senior-level experience within facilities management or a comparable service environment
- Proven experience managing a sizeable P&L
- Strong commercial and business development capability
- Experience managing complex, high-value client relationships
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A track record of delivering growth and improving operational performance
- Excellent commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within a regulated, complex or public-sector environment would be advantageous
