Horizon Bridge is a UK-based technology company specialising in monitoring, analytics, and risk solutions for critical infrastructure and high value assets. The company operates across sectors including offshore wind, subsea cables, oil & gas, power networks, and industrial systems—supporting clients in improving asset reliability, reducing risk, and enhancing operational performance. With deep domain expertise and a growing portfolio of innovative technologies, Horizon Bridge is expanding into new markets, including asset tracking solutions for high-value logistics, manufacturing, and construction applications.
The Role
Horizon Bridge is launching a new commercial business unit focused on the rapid growth of its field proven asset tracking solutions, including the C-Tag and C-Tag L product lines. We are seeking a proven commercial leader to take full ownership of this initiative—building, scaling, and leading a high-growth revenue stream from the ground up. This role offers full responsibility for sales, customer engagement, and commercial delivery within a high-autonomy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Ownership: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, engage, and close opportunities
- Customer Engagement: Lead client relationships end-to-end
- Delivery Oversight: Ensure successful execution with internal and external teams
- Manage relationships with delivery partner organisations.
- Revenue Growth: Build a scalable and repeatable pipeline
- Commercial Team Development: Build and scale the commercial capability required to grow the business unit, including identifying, engaging and coordinating additional commercial resources as appropriate.
- Operational Management: Oversee commercial structuring and invoicing

Contractor Profile
This role is best suited to individuals who have previously built revenue from zero and are motivated by ownership and high earnings potential.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a commercial function
- Strong B2B sales and business development experience
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure or similar sectors (beneficial)
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capability
- Highly driven, ambitious, and performance-oriented
- Able to quickly understand and communicate technical solutions

Compensation & Structure
- Commission-only structure (with possibility of review to hybrid upon successful traction against agreed KPIs)
- 20% of Gross Profit on all deals closed Uncapped high-performance earnings potential:
- £180k+ in Year 1
- £250k–£350k+ in Year 2
- Group Equity participation aligned with performance
Additional Information
- The scope of the engagement may be delivered on a substantial or portfolio basis, provided the contractor can demonstrate the capacity and availability required to deliver the agreed commercial outcomes.
- B2B service providers and commercial partnerships will also be considered where they can demonstrate a proven track record and the capacity to deliver the required commercial outcomes.
- Horizon Bridge does not provide visa sponsorship for this role
- Occasional travel may be required depending on client and project needs
Contract
This engagement is initially offered on an independent, business-to-business contractor basis rather than as an employed position. The successful contractor will be required to provide their services through their own UK limited company. The engagement will be governed by a separate services agreement and operated in accordance with applicable UK off-payroll working (IR35) rules.
