The successful individual will be comfortable operating across both longer-term strategic priorities and immediate CEO and ExCo needs, navigating effectively across Citi to bring together the right teams, data and perspectives. They will be expected to synthesize complex information into clear decision-oriented recommendations and help drive priorities from analysis through to execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Structure complex and ambiguous business problems, identify key issues and hypotheses and translate analysis into clear decision-oriented recommendations.
  • Lead project teams and independently execute priority initiatives, applying strong problem-solving, analytical, project management and communication skills.
  • Partner across CCB and broader Citi teams including regional and product leadership, finance, risk, and other functions to develop integrated perspectives and drive strategic priorities forward.
  • Leverage a strong understanding of Citi’s organizational structure, internal processes, governance and stakeholder landscape to navigate the organization effectively and mobilize the right teams and resources.
  • Support the development, articulation and ongoing implementation of CCB’s strategy, including monitoring progress against strategic priorities and identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive and industry analysis to assess emerging trends, competitor actions and potential implications for CCB.
  • Prepare high-quality materials, analyses and recommendations for the CCB CEO and CCB ExCo and other senior forums.
  • Coordinate effectively with key internal stakeholders and, where relevant, external parties to support strategic initiatives and senior manager priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal reporting, operating processes and the effectiveness of the Strategy team.
  • Represent and uphold Citi’s values, standards and culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
