Job Title

Business Unit Partnerships, Specialist

The Role

Develops and maintains an assigned portfolio of partnerships that creates value for Vanguard and the partner. Collaborates with functional enablement teams to develop partner offers, and with client coverage teams to deliver them to partner clients.

In this role you will

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with client coverage teams and cross-functional enablement teams to develop a portfolio of partnerships that drives value for both Vanguard and with current and prospective partner clients
  • Works with functional enablement teams to develop partner offer features across the full spectrum of services that Vanguard offers
  • Works with client coverage teams to deploy partner offer features into arrangements with specific current or prospective partners
  • Facilitates cross-team connections to address gaps in processes or services for partners that are not clearly owned by a single team
  • Serves as a subject matter expert supporting discussions with internal stakeholders and external clients. Uses knowledge of Vanguard funds, products and services to identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships
  • Monitors the health of an assigned portion of the partnership portfolio using internal and external metrics
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

What It Takes

  • Proven track record of related work experience. Three years in client-facing, proposition development and/or strategy roles in financial services preferred
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred

  • This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
