We have an opportunity live at the moment for a Business/Systems Analyst – Policy Admin Migration (Outside IR35). This is mainly a remote role, however occasional travel to the Isle of Man may be required a couple of times throughout.

- Rate: £500 per day
- IR35: Outside (pending final Qdos determination)

Overview of Role
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to support a Policy Admin System migration. This isn't a generalist BA role - we need someone who is comfortable getting into the technical detail of how a Policy Admin System integrates with the systems around it, and who can translate that understanding into a clear design for what the new integration landscape needs to look like.

You'll start by getting to grips with the "as is" interfaces on the current Policy Admin System, then work closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business to help design and implement the "to be" interfaces on the new system. The goal is straightforward: when the migration goes live, we need to keep servicing policies at least as well as we do today - ideally better and more efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Mapping and documenting the current ("as is") integrations between the Policy Admin System and other internal systems, external providers, and digital platforms
- Working with IT and business stakeholders to design the "to be" interfaces for the new Policy Admin System
- Supporting implementation of those interfaces, including testing and validation ahead of go-live
- Identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement as processes move across to the new system
- Acting as a bridge between technical teams and the business throughout the migration

What We're Looking For
- Solid Business Analyst or Systems Analyst experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
- Hands-on experience with Policy Admin System integrations - interfacing with other internal systems, external solutions (e.g. banking, credit card providers) and digital platforms
- A genuinely technical background, with a working understanding of overnight processing and batch jobs, SFTP, APIs, and server-to-server communications
- Experience supporting or delivering a system migration or replacement, ideally involving a Policy Admin System
- Strong stakeholder management skills - able to work across IT and business functions and translate between the two
- Comfortable working with both current-state analysis and future-state design
Salary
£475 - £500 GBP Per day
