Business Manager - FILM AND TV
Location: London - 4 Days in the Soho office
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
The Opportunity
We're looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Manager to join a growing accountancy practice working with an exciting portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses and creative industry clients.
This is a varied role combining accounts, tax, client management, and team leadership, with the opportunity to work closely with Partners and Managers and develop your advisory experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong, long-term relationships
- Providing practical advice and responding to client queries
- Reviewing and submitting filings to Companies House and HMRC
- Researching accounting and tax matters and providing clear, commercial advice
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to Creative Industry Tax Relief and Tax Credit claims across Theatre, Film and Television
- Supporting Partners and Managers on wider advisory and commercial projects
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working

What We're Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally 1-2 years post-qualified
- At least 4 years' experience in a medium-sized practice
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Experience with Excel, CCH, Xero, and/or QuickBooks
- A team player who enjoys supporting and developing others
- A PASSION FOR the Film & TV or wider creative industries is essential, as would an awareness of creative tax reliefs.
