Trainee Butcher - September 2026 Intake (Westerleigh Site)

Ready to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the food industry? Our Butchery Academy at Westerleigh is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our September 2026 intake as Trainee Butchers.

This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.

What’s in it for you?

Structured Training Programme: 12 weeks of dedicated training to give you all the skills you need to be successful including:

  • Knife safety, handling, sharpening, and PPE
  • Health & Safety, ergonomics, and injury prevention

What To Expect

  • Work in a chilled environment with physical tasks (we’ll support you with ergonomic exercises during your first 30 days)
