When you join us as a Butler at 45 Park Lane, you will have a unique opportunity to excel in your field. You will learn from your fellow Legends and our award-winning learning academy to achieve the highest standards in craft, service, and leadership.

What you’ll do

As a Butler, you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You will be responsible for welcoming guests on their arrival and hosting them throughout their stay, ensuring their needs are fully anticipated and met, with service of an exceptional standard. This will include liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that the room is fully prepared. Our Butler’s must display a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, its facilities and events on across London, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Butler, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.

The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change. These currently set as:

  • Monday to Sunday: 7.30 am to 23.00 pm

What you’ll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Good Communication Skills: You can speak clearly and listen carefully to guests. You can understand and follow instructions.
  • Friendly and Polite: You are welcoming, respectful, and kind to everyone. You treat guests and team members well.
  • Attention to Detail: You notice small things and make sure everything is clean, tidy, and perfect for guests.
  • Good Time Management: You can manage your time well and get tasks done when they need to be done. You are reliable and on time.
  • Willing to Help and be Flexible: You are happy to assist guests with different tasks and can adapt when plans change. You can work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Team Player: You work well with others and are willing to support your colleagues.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic Problem-Solving Skills: You can think of solutions when things don’t go as planned, like handling guest requests or fixing minor issues.
  • Knowledge of London and 45 Park Lane: You know some details about London attractions, events, and the 45 Park Lane hotel. You can help guests with directions or recommendations.
  • Experience with VIP Guests: If you have worked with VIP guests or in luxury service before, it would be a bonus.
