Key Accountabilities
- Enter and update borrower data on Fusion lending platform.
- Ensure all aspects of the loans are recorded accurately on Fusion and meet underwriting guidelines.
- Carry out an assessment of the mortgage application to ensure all aspects of our underwriting criteria are met.
- Provide concise and accurate updates to brokers.
- Proactively chase brokers for outstanding requirements.
- Ensure all underwriting is in line with Company policy and within regulation.
- Ensure that all cases are Underwritten within the Groups Risk appetite.
- Underwrite large loan applications and complex cases whilst maintaining a pipeline of cases.
- Preparing Credit Papers to be presented to Credit Committee
- Build good relationships with 3rd party suppliers including brokers and solicitors to assist in the smooth flow of business.
- Maintaining a pipeline of cases, overseeing cases from inception through to completion.
- Maintain broker relationships that are integral to the growth for WOSL.

All work is to be carried out in accordance with Enra Specialist Finance policies and procedures.
- Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies & procedures.
- Ensure compliance where applicable with AML, counter terrorist financing Proliferation financing, tax evasion, fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and financial crime policies & procedures
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and supported Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for higher-risk cases including the identification and verification of beneficial owners (BOs), ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) other relevant parties and corporate ownership structures and assess customer applications for potential money laundering. sanctions, bribery, fraud and other financial crime risks.

Skills & Competencies
- Pass internal competency tests post induction.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- A strong understanding of FCA regulation.
- Experience underwriting mortgage applications, specifically within the BTL market.
- CeMAP (desirable, not essential).

- Flexible.
- Articulate.
- Well organised.
- Robust and comfortable working to deadline and under pressure.
