Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a well-established engineering organisation based in Warwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy procurement function within a technical, fast-paced environment. SAP Exposure within a manufacturing environment is key.
This role will focus on placing orders, expediting materials, and managing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.
The Role
As a Buyer, you will support day-to-day procurement activity, ensuring materials are delivered in line with production demands.

Key responsibilities include:
- Placing and managing purchase orders for materials and components
- Challenging and influencing stakeholders to meet delivery timelines
- Reviewing demand and coordinating with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
- Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery and invoice queries
- Monitoring supplier performance and supporting improvements where required
- Managing inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a Buyer / Procurement / Materials Planning role
- Background within a manufacturing or technical environment
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP essential) and MRP processes
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to push back and influence stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently

Additional Information
- £250 to £300 per day
- Based on-site in Warwick
- Candidates must have full eligibility to work in the UK
