Construction Buyer

Broughton
Contract – 12 Months
Salary £44.00 per hour Umbrella

ARM has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Buyer to join a fast paced team at a Global Defence Company.

The Role:

  • Services/Goods are delivered on time, on quality and within budget, in compliance with Building procurement strategy objectives.
  • Savings targets are met.
  • Efficient supply chain with national and international supplier panels and competitive bidder lists in line with commodity and sub-commodity procurement strategy.
  • National and international supplier contracts are properly negotiated and managed based on GP contract policy, with the objective to reduce risks to Airbus.
  • Internal Customers’ satisfaction.
  • Proper and adequate communication/reporting.

  • 5 years of experience within procurement or operations or facility management.
  • Experience in setting up a procurement strategy.
  • Experience in Building project management would be highly appreciated.
  • Advanced Project Management skills to motivate cross-functional project teams in situations of often conflicting objectives (internal customer, supplier, budget).
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge about procurement building contracts.
