LeMieux Buyer Role
LeMieux is the UK’s fastest-growing equestrian and lifestyle brand, with a global community and big ambitions. Our success is driven by talented people who share our passion for innovation, collaboration, and excellence. We’re seeking a Buyer to join our team and help shape the future of our brand.
What You’ll Do
- Develop customer and market-focused product collections that align with our brand strategy, balancing new and contemporary product
- Consistently review the competition to keep our product proposition, price, and quality ahead across all key categories
- Build and manage supplier relationships, and source new vendors
- Continually investigate and propose new product opportunities to optimise sales
- Negotiate prices to deliver intake margin targets
- Manage critical path deadlines and lead times for timely product launches, working closely with Design and Merchandising to resolve issues that could impact delivery
- Influence the marketing calendar, feeding in product strategy and focus to deliver planned sales during key peak trading periods
- Liaise with QC to keep product development and production aligned with critical path dates and requirements
- Assess supplier performance and take appropriate action where necessary
- Champion the use of responsibly sourced and sustainable materials when developing product ranges and selecting suppliers

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Buyer, ideally within lifestyle, fashion or equestrian retail/wholesale
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data to inform buying decisions
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering intake margin targets
- Experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing new vendors
- A good eye for product and market trends, with the ability to balance new and contemporary ranges
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple critical paths and competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and QC
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in the equestrian and lifestyle industry (desirable)
- An interest in sustainable sourcing and ethical supply chain practices (desirable)
