Buyer required for a reputable manufacturing company located in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company of approximately 100 members, who are part of a wider international group, offering long term job security.

This role would suit candidates with experience in a buyer / procurement focused role, including experience with SAP. Candidates from any industry are encouraged.
Working within a team of five, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing suppliers and sourcing and reviewing new suppliers.

The Buyer Role
- Sending purchase orders
- Adding order information to the company's MRP system
- Updating sales team on deliveries and supply information
- Raise requestion orders
- Negotiating terms with suppliers
- Updating schedules for parts to be delivered
The Buyer Candidate
- Experience in a procurement / buyer role
- SAP experience
- Experience negotiating
