📍Location: Wimbledon OR Crewe | Dual-Brand Remit: Ryman & Robert Dyas
The digital technical landscape is shifting rapidly. AI-driven gadgets, smart ecosystem integration, compact travel power, and sustainable personal tech are reshaping consumer habits.
We need a Tech Buyer who doesn't just manage categories; you predict where the market is going and build the ranges to take it there.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Total Creative & Commercial Ownership - You get to launch a brand-new Own Brand Tech label from scratch.
- Direct Sourcing & Manufacturing Freedom - Work directly with overseas factories, negotiate COGs, oversee QA/compliance, and control packaging design.
- Dual-Demographic Reach - Shape the tech strategy for office/lifestyle shoppers (Ryman) and smart home/everyday utility shoppers (Robert Dyas).
- Global Exposure - Hunt down the next viral gadgets at CES, IFA, and Canton Fair.

What You’ll Bring
- Experienced Tech Buyer / Category Specialist with deep Far East direct-sourcing expertise.
- Specialist in private-label product development (concept to shelf).
- Commercial trader with proven P&L, stock-turn, and gross margin success across store and e-commerce channels.
