Buyer - Indirects

Department: Procurement

Location: Uxbridge

We’re looking for a Buyer - Indirects to take ownership of key spend categories, delivering procurement strategy, driving savings, and building a robust, sustainable supply base across Pilgrim’s Europe.

This is a strategic, commercially focused role, working cross‑functionally to deliver value, optimise total cost of ownership, and support a 3‑year procurement roadmap.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage Indirects spend categories end‑to‑end
  • Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing plans
  • Lead tenders, supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Deliver cost savings, synergies and value‑adding initiatives
  • Analyse spend, benchmark suppliers and identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive supplier performance, risk management and continuity planning
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver procurement objectives
  • Support global cross‑functional and synergy programmes

  • Strong experience in procurement, sourcing and category management
  • Proven ability to deliver savings and manage supplier relationships
  • Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in cross‑functional environments
  • Proactive, results‑driven mindset with strong stakeholder skills
  • Knowledge of Indirects categories, SAP or eProcurement tools (desirable)
