Due to growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to join our friendly Purchasing and Planning Team. Reliability, dedication, and a strong work ethic are fundamental character traits we are always looking for, with further cross-training provided.

Role Requirements

In order to be successful in the application process for the Buyer role, you will need to have:

• Proven experience in a Buyer, Procurement, or Supply Chain role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and strategic sourcing techniques.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for purchasing, inventory management, and production planning activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships internally and externally.
• Experience managing supplier performance through KPI measurement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to support sourcing and supplier engagement.
• Commercially minded with a focus on cost control, value creation, and risk management.
• Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites and business locations as required.
• CIPS Level 3 or 4 or equivalent experience (beneficial).
