About Maeving

Maeving is Britain's first electric motorcycle manufacturer, reviving the country's motorcycle heritage to redefine urban travel. Our first model, the RM1, launched in 2022 and became the UK's best-selling and best-reviewed electric motorcycle. Our second, the RM1S, won 'Best Urban Electric Motorcycle', ahead of competitor launches from BMW and Kawasaki that same year.

Our bikes are built in Coventry, the birthplace of British motorcycling, and designed by a team behind some of the most respected motorcycles on the road, led by Triumph's former Head of Product, Graeme Gilbert. Lightweight, simple, and powered by removable batteries that charge from any standard socket, our bikes are more enjoyable, cleaner, and more affordable than any other mode of transport. Through a pioneering direct-to-consumer model, we're reshaping commuting in the UK, and increasingly Europe and the US.

We're ambitious, fast-paced, and hard-working, bringing bikes to market in half the time of incumbent OEMs. Our goal is to become the leading global two-wheeled EV manufacturer, and everyone who joins us needs to share that mindset.

The Role

As a Buyer, you'll keep our production line moving. Working closely with Production Planning, you'll make sure the right components arrive from our global supplier base at the right time, in the right quantity and at the right cost. You'll own the full journey from material requirements planning through to purchase order, expediting, import and goods receipt, while managing supplier performance and driving cost efficiency along the way.

This is a hands-on, broad role with real scope to grow as the company grows.

What You'll Do

Material Planning

  • Translate production schedules and MRP outputs into purchase orders, ensuring materials are available when Production needs them.
  • Monitor stock levels, lead times and demand forecasts to maintain healthy inventory and avoid shortages or excess.
  • Work with Production Planning and Engineering to align supply with build plans, design changes and new model introductions.
  • Review and act on MRP exception messages, adjusting order quantities and delivery dates as demand shifts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
