Role Responsibilities:

As the Buyer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle from initial trend concept and product development to strategic trading of the ranges. You will be responsible for the management and efficiency of the critical path and all key deadlines. You will be expected to be commercially aware with a strong eye for emerging trends.

  • Building a well-balanced product range through reactive product development in line with the trend and brand identity
  • Key category planning and consideration within product ranges
  • Reviewing competitor activity to ensure we are staying ahead of the fast-paced environment
  • Critical path management
  • Identifying opportunities to improve productivity
  • Carrying out tailored fit sessions to ensure commerciality of product and that the product is fit for purpose
  • Weekly analysis of trading data to identify key strategies as well as seasonal strategy review
  • In-depth understanding of business sales KPIs and ensuring highlighting strategy to meet sales plan
  • Responsible for maintaining regular and strong communication with overseas teams
  • Managing collaborative relationships with design and creative teams to ensure we continue to maintain brand identity
  • Management of junior teams progression

Role Requirements:

We would love to see CVs from people with:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience within the industry
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and fabrics, including make-up, across multiple categories
  • Proficient problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and similar software
  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in managing junior colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to travel a minimum of 3x per year
