A successful manufacturing business with a global customer base.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will oversee all aspects of material supply including raising of forecasts, purchase orders, expediting / deferrals, updating prices / trigger levels and communicating supply issues internally. You will also work with suppliers regarding consignment stock control and identify / implement improvements to purchasing and inventory control.

Skills & Experience
You will have demonstrable career experience and achievement in Purchasing within a manufacturing environment, ideally at Buyer or Senior Buyer level. A team player with good communication skills, you will have strong customer & quality awareness and a commercial mindset to your purchasing deliverables.

Benefits
Salary is competitive dependent on career experience plus wider employment business benefits. Initially a 6 month contract, there is potential for the role to develop into a permanent position.
