Job Title: Buyers Admin Assistant
Location: Aberdeen
Reports to: Buyer
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full time, Monday-Friday. Permanent position.

The Role
The Buyer's Admin supports the Buying team with the day-to-day administration of the buying process, ensuring products progress smoothly from development through to delivery. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate systems, managing purchase orders and samples, monitoring critical paths, and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal departments to ensure deadlines are met. Success in this role requires excellent organisation, accuracy, commercial awareness, and a passion for fashion.

- Providing full administrative support to the Buying Team
- Raise purchase orders (POs) accurately and promptly.
- Taking ownership of the departmental Critical Path and working with suppliers to make sure key dates are both understood and met
- Working closely with internal and external functions such as Merchandising, Marketing, Customer Service, and Suppliers
- Liaising with suppliers to manage fit sessions, arrange samples, and provide fit comments
- Responsible for collating and organising daily approvals and communicating comments to suppliers
- Managing, labelling, logging, organising, and keeping track of all samples from concept to production stages
- Assisting with Trade meeting preparation with a basic understanding of Trade reports and actions
- Preparation for product reviews and sign offs, ensuring all samples arrive on time and are available and set up as required
- Carrying out comparative shop reports to develop and maintain knowledge of the current marketplace
- Complete additional administrative and ad hoc tasks as required

- PC literate - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
