About the Role

We are looking for the perfect candidate to support our established and ambitious UK business, The Avocado Company. Operating out of The Fresh Produce Centre, we are dedicated to the sourcing and supply of one of the fastest-growing and most popular products in today's fresh produce market. With grower partners in key locations around the world, we ensure a seamless 52-week supply of avocados to customers in retail, wholesale, and foodservice both in the UK and further afield.

So, why work for us?

We have an opportunity for you to join our team in Paddock Wood as a Buying Administrator. With the key purpose being the creation & maintenance of accurate consignment details in a timely manner, the role requires good administration, data entry, and organizational skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with freight forwarding agents and internal stakeholders. Working directly with our buying managers, this would present an excellent introduction to the procurement function or first step into a commercial role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
