Here's the exciting bit…a day includes
- Assist with the smooth implementation of category plans including range reviews, promotions, pricing, and stock that are consistent with overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement buyer-led marketing promotion plans and strategies developed by the buying team which adhere to legislation and brand guidelines.
- Help with the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of promotions.
- Assist with the smooth implementation of new product setup, including checking retail and cost prices.
- Potential to buy your own product category once you’ve settled into the role, which will offer the opportunity for future progression.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Excellent organisational and communication skills: written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadline and prioritise workload
- Able to work both following process and on own initiative
- Flexible and adaptable
- Team Player
- Confident energetic approach
- Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
- A passion for developing a career in Buying
