Our teams at Hilmore House (our central office in Bradford) play an important role in making good things happen and that means it’s buzzing with activity. Join us on our 2-year Buying Graduate scheme and enjoy lots of variety including sourcing ranges, settling deals and forecasting trade plans. Play a big role in everything from promotions to product launches, marketing and packaging!

What’s involved?

As a Buying Graduate, you'll enjoy early responsibility as an assistant buyer, before quickly training to become a buyer in a specialised product area. Learn on-the-job from experienced buyers, get involved in supplier agreements and go on placements within a store to understand our customers and colleagues. During your time on our 2-year programme, you could be:

  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure we’re able to offer the best products at the best costs
  • Sourcing and selecting ranges within your product area to give our customers a great choice
  • Forecasting sales and trade plans to ensure budgets and project timelines are up to date

What you’ll need to join us

We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who have attention to detail, motivation to succeed, can keep up to speed with products and understand competitors and the market, and are ready to make a difference to our business. You need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates also need a minimum 2:1 in any degree subject and a full UK driving licence. Other key qualities we’d like to see include:
