The Opportunity
An established retailer is seeking an ambitious commercial strategist to develop their electricals category.
This high-impact leadership position oversees the end-to-end development of a commercial range of tech accessories.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Direction: Build a long-term plan to sell personal electricals across both stores and online.
- Supplier & Product Management: Work directly with overseas manufacturers, set exact product specs, and guide new products through every stage from design to launch.
- P&L Management: Taking full responsibility for sales targets, profit margins, stock levels, and product rollouts.
- Tech Adoption: Spot hot new tech trends and get them onto shelves quickly.
- Compliance & Safety: Lead cross-functional teams to make sure products meet safety laws and guidelines.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a Senior Buying role / leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment
- Extensive experience leading private-label consumer electrical portfolios
- Financial Savvy - strong grip on profits and margins, getting maximum value out of store shelf space, and keeping stock levels healthy.
- A proven track record of smoothly introducing new products and stock management
