Company Overview
Caprae Capital Partners is a private equity and acquisitions platform led by Kevin Hong — a serial founder who scaled two technology ventures to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue. Today, Caprae is one of the fastest-scaling platforms in the lower-middle-market M&A and ETA ecosystem, combining an international research engine, a full-stack deal sourcing arm, and a rapidly expanding technology layer.
YTD, Caprae's service divisions have completed over $50M in transaction value and are expected to exceed $150M during the first half of 2026. We are building the next generation of acquisition professionals and are looking for individuals who want direct exposure to live transactions, proprietary deal sourcing, and the execution of lower-middle-market acquisitions.
Role Overview
The Buyside Analyst role provides hands-on exposure to the acquisition process from proprietary sourcing through transaction execution. Rather than focusing solely on financial modeling, analysts work alongside the deal team to identify opportunities, engage with business owners and market participants, evaluate acquisition targets, and support live transactions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
