Job Title

I am recruiting for a talented and passionate C# automation tester for my client who is an established software technology business that develops and supports sophisticated platforms used within complex, fast-moving global markets. As the business continues to expand and its products evolve, quality, reliability and speed of delivery are increasingly important. The QA function is therefore playing a key role in improving development processes, increasing test coverage and ensuring applications remain robust, scalable and secure.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated tests, while working closely with developers, DevOps and other technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The role combines automation, functional and regression testing, exploratory testing and non-functional testing, with opportunities to contribute to the evolution of the wider QA strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain automated tests against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and supporting test code.
  • Execute automated regression test packs alongside appropriate manual testing.
  • Carry out functional and regression testing of code and configuration changes.
  • Support and coordinate production releases in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform exploratory testing where appropriate within an Agile development environment.
  • Work closely with Development, DevOps and Client Delivery teams to understand technical changes, priorities and testing requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, document and help resolve defects and unexpected behaviour.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, standards and best practices.
  • Build and maintain QA documentation and contribute to a central knowledge base.
  • Participate in peer reviews of automation code and test approaches.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the continued development of the wider QA team.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and their functionality.
  • Contribute to improving test coverage, repeatability and overall quality.
  • Support the increased use of AI and AI-enabled development tools to improve testing efficiency and release cycles.
  • Contribute to non-functional testing activities, including performance, scalability and security testing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
