Job Title: Conference and Banqueting Supervisor
We are seeking a passionate Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to support the successful delivery of conferences, meetings, weddings, and banqueting events. This role is responsible for supervising the Conference and Banqueting team during events, ensuring consistently high service standards and creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be confident leading a team, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Core Responsibilities
Supporting Conference & Banqueting Operations
- Supervise the Conference and Banqueting team during events, ensuring smooth and efficient service from set-up through to breakdown.
- Assist with the set-up and preparation of meeting, conference, and banqueting spaces in line with Marriott standards and client requirements.
- Ensure rooms, tables, equipment, and service areas are clean, presentable, and maintained to a high standard throughout the event.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Work closely with the Conference & Banqueting management and event teams to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Assist with the safe handling, storage, and maintenance of banquet equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Support stock control and report any shortages, damage, or maintenance requirements to management.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service
- Deliver a consistently high level of guest service throughout conferences, meetings, and banqueting events.
- Welcome and interact with guests and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, special arrangements, and changes during events.
- Identify and resolve service issues quickly and effectively, escalating concerns to management where appropriate.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event and proactively look for opportunities to exceed expectations.
- Support the team in delivering Marriott standards and creating memorable guest experiences.
Health, Safety & Marriott Standards
- Ensure Marriott brand standards, departmental procedures, and health and safety requirements are followed at all times.
- Ensure the team maintains professional grooming, uniform, and personal presentation standards.
- Promote a safe working environment and report any hazards, accidents, or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and support the management team in maintaining compliance standards.

About You
- Previous supervisory experience within Conference & Banqueting, Food & Beverage, Events, or a related hospitality environment.
