C# Developer (C# MSSQL, Azure, Javascript) Hybrid working

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with strong C# expertise to help design, build and enhance the next generation of business-critical applications.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#, modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud technologies
  • Build intuitive front-end user experiences alongside robust back-end services
  • Develop new functionality through API integrations, databases and cloud services
  • Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing and automation
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues
  • Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities
  • Contribute to improvements across the software development lifecycle, including tooling, architecture, documentation and deployment processes
  • Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business value

About You

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' commercial experience developing in C#
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • JavaScript
    • HTML/CSS
    • React, Blazor, Next.js or similar modern frameworks
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services
  • Strong SQL database knowledge
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user stories, system documentation and database schemas

  • Experience with IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced SME environment
  • Exposure to large-scale systems integration projects
