Exciting Opportunity for a C++ Developer in Financial Services!

Are you a talented C++ Developer ready to make an impact in the dynamic world of financial services? Join our client’s innovative team in London and play a crucial role in shaping mission-critical projects!

Position: C++ Developer

Contract Length: 6 Months

Working Pattern: 2 days per week in the office, via Umbrella company

Location: London

As a C++ Developer, you will be part of a vibrant team that thrives on collaboration and technical excellence. You’ll work closely with business users and analysts to ensure that our applications not only meet but exceed user expectations. Dive into the fast-paced environment of Sales & Trading, and contribute your expertise to both Front and Back Office software solutions!

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support robust and scalable software for risk analysis, trade booking, valuation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with business users to ensure developed applications meet specifications.
  • Be part of our global follow-the-sun Level 3 support team, participating in on-call rotas.
  • Enhance corporate software development standards and improve CICD processes.
  • Automate software unit and integration testing, builds, and deployments.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering field.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++
  • Solid understanding of modern SQL and No-SQL databases.
  • Excellent grasp of algorithms, data structures, and OO design patterns.
  • Experience in Capital Markets is a plus!
  • Formal training in mathematical finance, with knowledge of Interest Rate pricing and risk models will set you apart.
