About The Role
Hexwired Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a skilled C# Developer to join a dynamic and innovative technology and engineering company based in Cambridge. Qualifications
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized university or college.
- Proven commercial experience in developing software applications for production testing or process automation environments.
- Strong expertise in C# development, with experience in WPF and MVVM frameworks being highly desirable.
- Knowledge of software release management, configuration, and change-control processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear documentation and discussions.
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams across R&D, manufacturing, and engineering environments, demonstrating adaptability and collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust C# applications tailored for production testing and automation processes.
- Developing high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions using C# and related technologies.
- Collaborating closely with R&D teams to translate innovative ideas into functional software products.
- Implementing user interfaces using WPF and MVVM to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Participating in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Managing software versioning, configuration, and change control to support continuous integration and deployment.
- Documenting technical specifications, user manuals, and system configurations to facilitate maintenance and future development.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and product quality.
