Wealth Management - 6-12 month contract - £500-550/day umbrella

We are partnering with a leading global firm to hire a dedicated C#/.NET Backend Developer for a critical 6-month contract.

We are seeking a pure software engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in backend C# engineering and SQL database performance tuning from any industry background.

The business is currently accelerating a major backend integration programme to connect core internal systems with external platforms. They need a specialist who has deep experience in server-side C# code, RESTful APIs, and database engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on backend architecture while building and optimising high-throughput integration pipelines and core services.
  • Design, build, and consume production-grade RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless data flows.
  • Execute complex database engineering tasks in SQL Server (T-SQL), including query optimization, index tuning, and writing complex stored procedures.
  • Ensure all backend code is resilient, test-driven, and deployed via modern CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to unblock complex backend logic and meet strict project delivery milestones.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
