C++ Developer – Algorithms & Systems (Contract or Permanent | UK Hybrid)

I am working with a technology client looking for a C++ Developer to design and build high-performance backend components and system-level services for a scalable software platform.

This role focuses on modern C++ development in a Linux environment, delivering efficient algorithms, concurrent systems, and performance-critical services.

You’ll be working on system architecture, optimisation, and debugging complex multithreaded applications where performance, throughput, and memory efficiency are key.

Key Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience with modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later)
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and synchronisation
  • Experience with object-oriented design and software architecture principles
  • Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
