We are looking to add talented C# Developers to our database for contract opportunities in Manchester. About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future C# Developer contract positions within our technology discipline. What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Designing and developing C# applications and APIs using .NET and ASP.NET frameworks
  • Building and maintaining microservices within distributed systems architectures
  • Working with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Writing clean, testable code and participating in code reviews
  • Contributing to technical design discussions and architectural decisions
  • Supporting deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / ASP.NET frameworks
  • Demonstrable experience building APIs and microservices
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud platform and CI/CD practices
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems and agile development workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Nice-to-have qualifications could include:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to React or other front-end frameworks
  • Knowledge of distributed systems design patterns
  • Experience with automated testing and test-driven development
