About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Developer / Software Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative fintech start-up based in London, with flexible remote working options. In this influential role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a key part in shaping the company's technological future by contributing to core system architecture and driving the adoption of artificial intelligence initiatives such as chatbots and process automation.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge features and new development projects, ensuring software delivery aligns with business goals and technical best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams, participate in two-week sprints, and advocate for best practices in software development. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, with a strong understanding of modern development practices.
- Extensive expertise in C# backend development, with additional Python programming skills considered a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience working on highly scalable cloud-based systems.
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
- Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence, with familiarity of tools such as ChatGPT and AI integration concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions using C# and the Microsoft technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop features, and ensure timely delivery within Agile sprint cycles.
- Implement best practices in software development, including SOLID principles, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Drive innovation by exploring and integrating AI technologies such as chatbots, automation tools, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical strategy of the company's core platforms and systems.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of quality and collaboration within the development team.
