Job Description
Talan is seeking a skilled C# Developer with REACT experience to join our delivery teams working on Front Office platforms within Global Markets environments.
In this role, you will design, build, and enhance regulatory, alerting, and sales enablement solutions, supporting front-office users in fast-paced trading environments. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, delivering high-performance applications that directly impact sales and trading activities.
You will contribute to the development of front-office sales and trading tools within a Global Markets ecosystem, supporting a range of business-critical applications.
Operating in a distributed agile environment, you will collaborate with:
- Front office stakeholders (sales & trading)
- Application support and production teams
- QA and testing teams
- Distributed delivery teams across Europe and globally

This role offers exposure to complex, real-time systems within capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain front-office applications, components and utilities
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support)
- Build and deliver high-performance, scalable applications
- Develop RESTful APIs and modern UI applications using React
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-driven solutions
- Collaborate with production support teams to ensure smooth releases and system stability
- Provide third-line support and assist with troubleshooting production incidents
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience (Required)
- Strong development experience in C# & REACT
- Experience building web-based applications and RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React
- Strong understanding of application performance and optimisation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in agile, collaborative environments
- Experience within investment banking or capital markets environments
- Knowledge of front office systems (FX, Rates, Credit, or derivatives)
- Experience with multi-threaded or distributed systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity) and deployment tools (e.g. Ansible)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
