C#.net engineer needed for a company at the forefront of the global energy markets, delivering innovative trading solutions across electricity, gas, power, LNG, environmental products, building cutting-edge, C#.net, API, software to deliver to the business.
C#.net, API Engineer Role
As a C#.net API engineer, you will be working directly with the front office, across the client’s portfolio of trading, getting exposure to complex derivative structures. This is a great opportunity for a C#.net, API engineer to step into the world of trading as prior experience in financial services is not required.
As a C#.net, API engineer you will be joining a team with a high degree of technical expertise across a range of technologies such as C#.net, API, back-end services, containers and you will work on a new service-based application and infrastructure.

- Salary: Up to £70,000 plus a strong bonus + strong pension
- Location: Closest station South Kensington/Sloane Square/St James Park
- Work Schedule: 3 days on site per week
Responsibilities
- Engage with users to gather requirements and take ownership of the delivery of any development work
- Adhere to company standards and best practices around documentation, testing, and C#.net, API code
- Have good stakeholder conversations in understanding trading markets

Technical Requirements
- Good programming skills in.Net and basic understanding of Python; able and willing to write clear and effective code
- Understanding of API and backend services development in .Net
- Understanding of the basics of containers and cloud-based systems
- Understanding of relational and non-relational database systems
- Sound understanding of computer science and mathematical methods
- Interest in commodity trading and finance domain
