People first, always
At Delta, our people are the difference. We're a North East based Microsoft consultancy working with organisations across the UK, and our mission is simple: build a culture of collaboration and trust, and deliver cloud solutions that get it right first time.
That culture isn't a poster on the wall. It's how we work every day: Trust. We believe in each other and earn the trust of colleagues and clients. Honesty. We're open about what we can and can't deliver, with clients and with each other. Innovation. There's space for fresh ideas and new ways of solving problems, whatever your level. Collaboration. One team, with each other and with our clients. Inclusivity. We welcome different beliefs, backgrounds and perspectives. People. Psychological safety, openness and growth come first. Asking questions is encouraged, and so is saying "I'm stuck". Sustainability. We plant a tree for every delivery day to offset our carbon footprint.
We often run team events having recently visited Alton Towers and Flight Club.
More than writing code
We're a consultancy first. We start with outcomes, and technology comes second. Before anything gets built, we take the time to understand a client's processes, challenges and ambitions. Our developers actively participate in scoping and workshops to connect the business side with the technical side. You'll be part of that from the start. You'll join discovery workshops, hear directly from stakeholders, help define what success looks like and see how requirements turn into functional and solution design documents. When it comes to building, you'll know exactly why each feature matters to the client.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

If you want to grow into a developer who can talk to a client as easily as they can write code, this is the place to do it.
The role
We're looking for a developer with around two years of commercial experience who's ready to step up to mid-level. You know your way around C# and .NET, you've shipped real features, and now you want more ownership and a team that will back you while you grow.
What you'll be doing
- Building custom solutions in C#,.NET, hosted on Azure
- Taking part in discovery sessions with clients to understand the problem before designing a solution
- Helping turn business requirements into technical designs, estimates and a prioritised backlog
- Working through our delivery loop: Discovery, Spike, Review, Deliver, then back round again
- Running time-boxed spikes to prove ideas out, then presenting the findings to the team and stakeholders
- Shipping through Azure DevOps with continuous delivery, so change is safe and frequent
- Working with AI to improve the quality of the work we deliver and embed AI in applications where the business justification exists
- Keeping security in mind at every stage, not bolted on at the end
- Giving and receiving code review feedback, and helping shape how the team works
