C# Software Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £160,000+ + Bonus + Benefits
Client: Elite Quantitative Trading Firm

🚀 C# Software Engineer | £160k+ | Quant Trading | London

I’m working with an elite quantitative trading firm that’s looking for strong C# Software Engineers to join a highly technical team.

This is a particularly interesting one for anyone who enjoys building things where performance actually matters.

You’ll be working on genuinely challenging engineering problems, using some of the newest technology in the industry and working alongside some seriously smart people. It’s also a very flat structure, which means far less of the usual corporate nonsense. You won’t be spending half your week in meetings about meetings, waiting for someone three levels above you to approve an idea you had two weeks ago. You’ll have real ownership, direct access to senior people and plenty of freedom to make technical decisions.

The Role

💻 Build high-performance software
You’ll be working with C# in a highly performance-focused environment, building and improving systems where speed, reliability and scalability genuinely matter.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

🧠 Solve difficult engineering problems
This isn’t a role where everything has already been figured out. You’ll be tackling interesting technical challenges and working out how to make things faster, more efficient and more robust.

⚡ Work with seriously good tech
The firm invests heavily in technology and infrastructure, giving engineers the opportunity to work with modern tooling and solve problems at a scale you simply don’t see in most environments.

🔧 Have genuine ownership
You’ll be trusted to make decisions and take projects from idea through to implementation. Less hand-holding, more opportunity to actually build.

📈 Progress quickly
The structure is deliberately flat. Perform well, take on more responsibility and your career and compensation can move quickly with you.

😎 Work hard, have a life
High standards, smart people and interesting problems, without the 80-hour weeks being worn as a badge of honour. Good work/life balance, a fun culture and a supportive office.
