We're working with a leading organisation within the defence and security sector, dedicated to developing advanced electronic warfare and mission systems. This company provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative defence technology within a mature software development environment.
The Role
- Develop robust applications using C#.NET within a Windows environment
- Take ownership of complex tasks through the full software development lifecycle
- Apply object-oriented design principles and software verification and validation techniques
- Develop and maintain web-based applications
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks and continuous integration and delivery practices
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team while delivering tasks independently

What You'll Need
- Strong experience in C#.NET software development, including web-based applications
- Sound understanding of object-oriented design and software development methodologies
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and understanding of microservices architecture
- Full UK Security Check (SC) clearance is essential
- Desirable: Experience in defence/electronic warfare, WPF, WinForms, Visual Studio, DOORS, Cameo, Azure DevOps, C++ development
