Job Opportunity: FO C# Software Engineer
Hawksworth are working with a European Investment Bank in London who are looking to hire a FO C# Software Engineer. 12 month initial Contract, £720 per day inside IR35 through an umbrella company. London. Hybrid working x3 days a week onsite, x2 days at home per week.
The Job:
As the C# / Commando developer on the trading floor, you will play a critical role in supporting USD swaps traders in London, by delivering robust, high-impact solutions to business challenges. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing target tools moving from tactical existing tools to ensure smooth trading operations and efficient workflows, work closely with spreadsheets, risk and P&L. You will be collaborating with developers’ applications teams and commando community in Paris, New York and Tokyo.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong C# development skills.
- Advanced VBA and Excel development experience.
- Experience building Excel plug-ins, macros and trading desk tooling.
- Strong Front Office banking experience.
- Experience supporting traders directly.
- Knowledge of P&L and risk reporting environments.
- Experience in integrating spreadsheet tools with applications and market data feeds.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Python.

- Understanding of databases and financial data sources.
- Experience working within Rates/Fixed Income environments.
