Software Engineer (C++)
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £40000 - £60000 Depending on Experience Plus Benefits
Office based 4 days a week
We're seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong C++ development experience and ideally some Embedded Linux and QT experience to join a team developing advanced software for connected technology products.
This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and has a proven ability to design and implement sophisticated algorithms for data analysis, diagnostics, measurement, or optimisation.
Essential Requirements
- Strong commercial C++ development experience.
- Ability to design and implement complex algorithms.
- Strong mathematical skills, including calculus and analytical problem solving.
- Experience with software design, testing and debugging.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and software architecture.
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience).

- Qt development (Qt Widgets and/or QML).
- Embedded Linux development.
- Linux application development.
- Networking technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP, VLAN, SNMP).
- Microsoft Azure and cloud-connected products.
- Python development.
- CI/CD and GitLab.
- Machine learning or data analytics.
