About Regen:FX Youth Trust
Regen:FX Youth Trust is a well-established third sector youth organisation, working across South Lanarkshire since 2007. We are firmly embedded in our communities and committed to dignity, respect, inclusion and recovery-focused practice. We work alongside young people, families and communities to reduce harm, challenge stigma and support young people to live purposeful, meaningful lives.
Regen:FX has been delivering The GIVIT Youth Recovery Service for young people affected by their own alcohol & substance use and GIVIT some STREET, the early intervention element of the service specifically for young people taking risks around substance use and those who are affected by a loved one’s alcohol and substance use.
We have now been awarded the South Lanarkshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (SLADP) Workforce Development Training contract. This new service is community-centered, human-rights-led and co-produced with people who have lived and living experience (LLE) of substance use.
REGEN:FX – Workforce Development Training Programme
This programme supports the workforce of statutory and third sector organisations across South Lanarkshire to feel confident and informed in their roles when supporting people with alcohol and substance use. The training programme focuses on:
- Stigma-free practice
- Drug trends and harm reduction
- Alcohol related harms
- Human rights and the Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use
- Trauma-informed and compassionate engagement
- Applying learning meaningfully in day-to-day practice
Delivery is flexible and blended, including face-to-face training, live online sessions and e-learning. Lived and living experience will be central to design and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
