Cabin Interiors Certification Verification Engineer (CVE) – easyJet Design Organisation
TEAM
The Design Team supports the operation by approving specific aircraft modifications, changes, repairs and allowable damage. We are also part of the easyJet Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), helping to maintain the continued airworthiness of the fleet.
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that cabin interior design data approved by the Design Organisation meets initial and continued airworthiness requirements.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Within the scope of your authorisation, prepare and approve design data to the required standard. This may include changes, repairs, compliance checklists, drawings, reports and instructions for continued airworthiness.
- Independently check compliance documents for technical accuracy and confirm that they meet the applicable airworthiness requirements.
- Act as the technical expert for cabin interiors, providing advice and coordinating with engineering colleagues and the wider business.
- Take an active role in the Design Organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Manage and prioritise requests so that work is delivered on time and meets operational needs.
- Support Independent System Monitoring (ISM) activities and CAA audits when required.

COMPETENCIES
The successful candidate will:
- Either already hold a cabin interiors CVE approval that can be aligned with the scope of the easyJet Design Organisation, or have sufficient competence and experience to be granted the appropriate CVE privilege.
- Support the team in producing approved design data that consistently meets the required standards.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and external contacts, share information with the right people and build trust by listening and working well with others.
- Carry out safety investigations, identify root causes and define effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the wider easyJet business by introducing modifications that meet regulatory requirements, provide value for money and support easyJet’s strategic objectives.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- A good working knowledge of aircraft certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time role based in Luton, working 40 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required.
