About The Role…
To act in the capacity of a Cable Jointer Mate to support the Jointer (craftsman) with electrical installations/jointing activities and Field Manager with Job readiness activities - Materials etc. Assist in coordination of electrical works to ensure full compliance with DNO & Ipsum Powers Policies and Procedures

As a Cable Jointers Mate you will…
- Supporting the work on development sites and the public highway
- Understanding utility plans
- Assisting with the cable jointing and network energisation activities
- Assistance with Connections to substations
- Work with the general public.
- The role is to be support cable jointers with the installation of electrical connections, working with an assistant.
- Preparation and use of tools and machinery, preparation of work sites for various works
- Assistance highlighting any issues which may affect compliance
- Cable laying
About You…
- Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card
- Hold a valid First Aid qualification
- DNO operational Authorisation
- A good understanding of sustainability and health and safety.
- Be conversant with testing procedures.
- A clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations.
- You also need to be flexible to carry out stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of severe weather
- Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures
