Cabling Supervisor - Western Isles

We’re looking for an experienced Cabling Supervisor to oversee daily operations across our fibre network builds in the Western Isles, with regular travel to other areas of Scotland as part of the role. Acting as the first point of contact for our engineering teams, you’ll ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while keeping projects on schedule and compliant with all programme and H&S requirements.

This role involves working away from home for a period of up to two weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided.

What We Expect of You:

In this hands-on and fast-paced role, you’ll take responsibility for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring sites run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll carry out site and team audits to monitor compliance and performance, oversee all health and safety requirements, and provide guidance and mentoring to engineers to help resolve on-site issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
