Key Responsibilities
Product Design and Development
- Create detailed designs and technical specifications for products, systems, or components using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (e.g., SolidWorks, Draftsight and Revit).
- Conduct design reviews with stakeholders, ensuring that designs meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and manufacturability.
- Follow CAD and drawing departmental guidelines.

Documentation And Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all design work, including drawings, models, specifications, and test results in compliance with the QMS.
- Prepare and present design reports and updates for management and stakeholders, providing clear documentation of design iterations and final specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices.
Collaboration And Communication
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement and manufacturing, to ensure successful product realisation.
- Communicate design concepts clearly through drawings, reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Support sales and marketing teams with technical insights for customer-facing materials.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reduction without compromising quality or performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and materials to incorporate innovations into designs.

Key Skills
- HNC/HND engineering qualification – minimum.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in industrial Valves, Actuation.
- Experience In Fluid Dynamics And Mechanical Engineering Are Essential.
- Experience working with pressure vessels would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Draftsight, Revit, CATIA, etc.).
- Technical: Strong knowledge of engineering principles, mechanics.
- Detail-oriented: a strict focus on engineering quality and efficiency.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and creative problem solving.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
