CAD & Design Apprentice

We are seeking a CAD & Design Apprentice to join a fast-paced office environment in Braintree. Working under supervision in our design department. You will be responsible for translating project requirements into technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• CAD Design: Producing and amending 2D technical drawings for commercial kitchen/ventilation and HVAC projects
• Administrative Support: Providing general administrative assistance to the management team to ensure the smooth running of the office
• CAD Knowledge: A working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) is important. Further on-the-job training will be provided
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Organisational Skills: The ability to organise time efficiently
• IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Reliability: A proactive team player with a strong work ethic

Apprenticeship Details

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Course Contents
