A GBP 40,000 - A GBP 50,000 DOE + Pension (after qualifying period) + Parking + 20 Days + Bank Holidays + Healthcare (after qualifying period) + Travel Expenses to Site Visits
Working Hours:
9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 9am to 4.30pm
CAD Design Engineer
Required for an expanding and well-established company. The company offers training on their products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates need experience of 2D CAD sheet metal designs in construction, building services or noise control.
- You will create general arrangement and detailed drawings for Noise Control projects, ensuring specifications are met.
- The successful candidate will work within a small team and with clients to develop designs to meet project requirements.
- You may be required to attend site visits when needed; a pool car/expenses will be available.

The CAD Design Engineer Role In Brief
- Produce 2D designs using AutoCAD and BricsCAD
- Review and update drawings based upon client comments/design changes
- Produce manufacturing drawings
- Produce installation drawings
- Produce parts lists
- Produce fixings list
- Attend site visits
- Assist with general office duties
- Liaise with factory to ensure smooth progress of manufacturing
- Attend site visits when required

CAD Design Engineer Required Experience
- 2D CAD experience in construction, Noise Control or Building/Mechanical Services
- Experience in designing products fabricated from sheet metal with a knowledge of light weight structural steel fabrications.
- Excellent attention to detail
