Join Epta as an Auto CAD Draughtsman
Play a key role in driving our commercial refrigeration success, contributing directly to our growth strategy. This exciting permanent role is located at our Bradford or Ringwood Office and offers hybrid working (3 days office/2 home) offering 37.5 hours between 07:30 and 17:30
Your Contribution
In this role, you'll work within the contracting engineering team, focused on providing a high standard of CAD drawings to enable the submission of full drawing packages to our customers. You will answer directly to the design and application manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for drawing procedures, templates, standards, drawing structure
- Modifying customer drawings of supermarket layouts to show refrigerated cabinet layouts & refrigeration services.
- Drawing isometric pipe work routes
- Drawing, from manufacturers information refrigeration plan on steelwork supports
- Be able to manipulate MS office documents including Excel tables into drawings.
- Issue and record drawing issue information as required
- Liaise with a team of Engineers and Project Managers for drawing requirements and plotting drawings for issue

Your Journey
Here at Epta we deliver high quality retail refrigeration & air conditioning installations, which you will be an integral part of this process and delivery, with good time management, ability to be able to cope and be flexible with changing demands as well as excellent prioritisation skills. Further attributing skills:
- Drafting skills: CAD a Necessity – system design
- BIM basic knowledge required as this system can also be developed In-House.
- Refrigeration qualification (e.g. ONC, NVQ etc.) Desirable
- IT skills (Word, Excel, specialist design software)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
