Key Responsibilities:
- Cad designs for customer approval
- Updating and saving revisions on server and machine controller
- Recording of what has been cut on laser and punch
- Component drawings for manufacturing
- Create nest for the laser and punch
- Generally, look after the running of the laser and the punch
- Sharpening of tools for the punch
- General housekeeping of the punch and laser
- Loading and unloading of material
- Helping develop new products using press brakes and general factory machinery
- Assisting production at busy times
- Communicate with external service engineers in relation to the punch and laser
- Setting power presses
- General maintenance of factory machinery
- General assistance to the Senior engineer
